Home service usually costs the same service price plus a visit fee. Compare the total, not only the service price. For several people at the same home, the single visit fee is shared, so home service can work out cheaper per person.
How to prepare your home
- Choose a spot with good natural light, ideally near a window.
- Keep a chair with a back, a small table and a plug point nearby.
- Keep two clean towels and a bucket or mug of water ready for services that need it.
- Clear a little space so the professional can set up their kit.
- Keep pets in another room.
Hygiene checklist (salon or home)
- Fresh towels and disposable or cleaned tools for each customer.
- New wax strips and a wax spatula that is not double-dipped.
- Clean, trimmed nails and clean hands of the professional.
